What’s a Nettercap?
Nettercap is is an old Scots (and older English) word meaning “spider” – or, more accurately in our case, “web-spinner.” We chose this name in part to reflect our connection to the local Celtic community, and in part, admittedly, because we thought it was clever and funny.
So the spiderweb logo is…
Thematic, yep. If you zoom in and look closely, you may notice that the web itself is an unconventional knotwork design.
And that “untangling the web” slogan?
Never let it be said that we’re scared of a dad joke.
